A brand new and exciting opportunity for an ambitious and commercially astute Technical Project Manager with a background in high-technology engineering to join a Cambridge based spin out organisation. The company is developing high-tech/low-volume bespoke scientific instrumentation systems which are set to revolutionise the Healthcare/Pharmaceutical/Biotechnology market. With a queue of clients and ‘off-plan’ pre-orders for the systems, this technology and company is set to evolve rapidly.
As the Technical Project Manager, you will play a key role within the organisation and be the primary point of contact for the client from pre-sales through to product delivery. You will be working with the product development team to establish specifications and functional descriptions, taking responsibility for the statement of work including design, manufacturing, test and quality control. You will also assist with establishing a supply chain for the new product developments.

Requirements of Systems Project Manager:
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Materials, Science or Engineering discipline or equivalent
Extensive experience in systems-level engineering, technical outsourcing and project management
Ideally having experience in equipment for scientific, biotech or medical equipment
Strong customer facing skills with ability to communicate on both a technical and commercial level
Job Location: Cambridgeshire (Commutable from: Cambridge, Bedford, Huntingdon, St Neots, Peterborough, etc.)
