RF Electronics & Magnetics Engineer (Australia)
Any Aussie or Kiwi RF Engineers fed up with Brexit and thinking of going south again? If so this Brisbane, Australia based medical device technology company, specialising in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) sub-systems, are seeking an experienced RF Engineer. The RF Electronics & Magnetics Engineer will take a lead role in developing high powered radio frequency circuitry for use in these life-saving systems. This will include design simulation, modelling, build and test of RF coils.
RF Engineer -required skills and experience:
Applicants MUST have existing Australian right to work (eg Australian or New Zealand citizenship or Permanent Residence) -we are unable to sponsor work permit/visa applications.
Degree or similar in Electronics Engineering, RF Engineering, Applied Physics or similar.
Demonstrated RF Engineering experience preferably in the MRI field or associated Medical Device/Biotech.
Design simulation, modelling, build and test of RF coils to meet product requirements.
Experience in the use of design and simulation tools such as CST, ANSYS,COMSOL or Sim4 Life.
Working successfully within an ISO 13485 and/or 21 CFR Part 820 accredited organisation.
Self-driven with good time management and prioritisation skills. Good verbal and written communication skills with ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical staff.
A team player that can also ensure individual workload is successfully delivered.
Commercial acumen, resilience and a flexible approach to dealing with changing priorities and demands.
