One of the UK`s most exciting technology development companies is looking for a strong NPI Manufacturing Engineer to join their expanding team. As NPI Manufacturing Engineer, you will be an integral member of the team working across multiple areas of the business including Design, Quality, Industrialisation and Procurement. Working very closely with the Procurement team you will be assisting with vendor selection and delivery of appropriate materials/components to then develop next generation products which are being used to quite literally save people’s lives!

The NPI Manufacturing Engineer will be joining a truly exceptional organisation undergoing rapid growth due to the huge success that their market disruptive technology is having on the medical devices / healthcare industry. Ideally, you will come from a similar high compliance industry (Medical, Aerospace, Automotive etc.) developing prototype products from concept through to manufacture.

The NPI Manufacturing Engineer will have the following skills and experience:
• A good degree in a relevant discipline, or equivalent professional experience
• Strong understanding of electronics and the workings within high tech devices AND/OR understanding of plastic injection moulding/encasings for brand new products
• Experience of technical supplier management would be a very distinct advantage
• Experience taking a product from concept, deciding upon appropriate materials and manufacturing plan.
• Working closely with Purchasing teams, to select appropriate suppliers – this may involve visiting potential supplier locations to assess fo
