Manufacturing Engineering Manager
We are looking for an ambitious Manufacturing Manager / Head of Manufacturing Engineer to join a high technology company developing complex capital equipment for the industrial printing industry. Responsibilities of Manufacturing Manager
Lead, manage and develop the Manufacturing Engineering Team to deliver effective Production & Process Engineering services
Working closely with development to introduce new product and feedback product improvements into existing products and development projects. This is a cross-functional role leading manufacturing product improvements across the business and developing production processes to continually improve the business performance and drive down manufacturing costs.
Plan and develop departmental processes, management processes, promoting behaviour and skills in line with lean management and continuous improvement principles.
Previous experience working as Manufacturing Manager or Head of Manufacturing for a capital equipment manufacturing company
HNC/Degree Manufacturing/Engineering qualification
Strong knowledge of Manufacturing tools and techniques (Lean, Six Sigma, 8D, Design for Manufacturing, DFM, ECN, CARs)
Good knowledge of Continuous Improvement.
Strong Microsoft Office skills especially Excel
