DSP Algorithm Development Engineer C/C++ Audio

An innovative and exciting international business is looking for a DSP Software Engineer with expertise in C/C++ and Audio Signal Processing Algorithm Development to join a team focussed on the on-going development of a patented and highly novel software product which is quickly gaining market traction around the world.

This is NOT an everyday DSP Software coding job involving little more than mundane code-bashing for someone else’s design. It is seriously clever, cutting edge audio DSP involving lots of algorithm design which you will then implement with your own code. We are looking for somebody naturally curious, enthusiastic and self-motivated, who is excited by the prospect of devising novel algorithms for interesting real-world problems to do with Audio and Digital Signal Processing.

This position would be suitable for an experienced DSP Software / Algorithm developer with a good maths/physics/computer science degree.

The ideal candidate for this job will have:

  • A relevant degree (BSc/BEng/MEng in Maths/Physics/Computer Science)
  • Significant experience in audio signal processing design and implementation for communication devices
  • Be a competent user of MATLAB and be able to program in C and C++
  • Be familiar with writing software for and debugging real time DSP signal processing devices
