We are currently seeking a highly numerate Data Analyst to join a successful digital marketing company based in the Milton Keynes region. The company provides mobile and web performance monitoring and digital marketing services which have rapidly grown in demand in the recent months. As recognised experts in their field, they offer stand alone or integrated marketing strategies that embrace mobile and web campaigns, site creation and applications. As the Data Analyst, you will work as part of the in-house technical team and will be directly involved in a variety of projects related to online marketing. You will be required to seek solutions for challenges such as building an automated reporting, analysing data and providing media buying recommendations.
Responsibilities will include:
Analysis of complex data sets – reporting trends, inconsistencies etc.
Investigating data inconsistencies – amending abnormalities that occur
Data Manipulation and creation of customer reports
Ensuring delivery of regular reporting, including testing of new reports and checking data quality.
An excellent degree (2.1 or above) in a numerate subject such as Maths, Statistics, Business, Finance, Demographics, Geography etc. Alternatively, relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Advanced knowledge of MySQL and good general knowledge of database systems.
Experience in Tableau, Power Bi or Qlik.
Experience of manipulating and prepping large data sets.
Knowledge of at least one server side scripting language, ideally PHP.
Own vehicle is essential due to rural location on the outskirts of Milton Keynes.
Experience in Data Science and use of R or Python to solve data problems.
